Connecting a real WhatsApp channel has a stretch that happens outside the Platform (the messaging provider’s own window). There the copilot never acts on your behalf: it explains what to do and waits. When you come back, it checks on screen that it was connected and continues.

Today the “Channels” screen is already in the copilot’s manifest (you can ask it “take me to Channels” and it will), but the fine-grained step of “highlight the Connect WhatsApp button” isn’t declared yet — it’s the next coverage on the way. Until then, the assistant guides with text instead of highlighting the exact button; as soon as that piece of the manifest lands and gets approved, the same case will work with real highlighting, with nothing different for you to do.
