Requirements: administrator role; a successful connection test with the form’s current data (section 6).
- With the test result showing ✅ for both IMAP and SMTP, tap Save and connect.
Result: the channel switches to Connected and the panel shows the “Linked mailbox” summary: address, IMAP (server:port and whether it uses SSL or STARTTLS) and SMTP. From this moment on, the agent starts reading and replying to that mailbox (section 9).
Right after connecting it’s normal to see “No message from this mailbox has synced yet” — once the first sweep runs (section 9), the notice changes to “Sync with this mailbox is active: new messages are processed automatically.”
