With Shopify already connected, the detail’s Status tab includes a Test connection button that makes a real call to your store’s MCP server to confirm it’s still responding.
Requirements: Admin role.
- Open Shopify’s Details and go to the Status tab.
- Click Test connection.
Result: “Connection successful” if your store is still responding, or “Couldn’t connect: [reason]” if the domain no longer exists or your store is closed (section 8).
The example below again uses Google Sheets — with Shopify connected, the same “Status” tab shows the “Test connection” and “Disconnect” buttons.
