Until now, every integration (Google Sheets, HubSpot, Email…) only had ONE connection: the main one, shared by the whole tenant. Now an integration can also have several named connections — for example, two different spreadsheets for two departments, or two different mailboxes — each with its own credentials, its own list of allowed actions (none by default: you enable only the ones that connection needs), and its own scope:
| Scope | Who can see and use it |
|---|---|
| Shared | The conversation’s general assistant and any flow in the tenant. |
| This flow only | Only that flow — invisible to the general assistant and to every other flow. |
The main connection doesn’t change: it’s still the same one as always, and it can’t be renamed or revoked from this screen (that’s what “Disconnect” is for, on the integration’s own card). Named connections are an addition, not a replacement.
Note — When to use each scope
For a billing mailbox or a sheet that only one flow should touch, use “This flow only”: that way no other flow, and not even the general assistant, can read it. Use “Shared” when several flows (or the assistant itself) need to use the same connection. Changing an existing connection from “this flow only” to “shared” requires the integration-management permission.
Notice — Third-party data
A connection can give access to data belonging to people who aren’t your company (customers, suppliers). Your company is responsible for handling it in line with data-protection rules — check that you have a legal basis and limit the allowed actions to only what you actually need.
