Warning — Check your plan before you start
Unlike HubSpot, not every Salesforce plan includes REST API access — without it, this integration can’t work. If your org is a production one (not Developer Edition) and you aren’t sure whether you have the API available, confirm it with your Salesforce admin before creating the External Client App in section 3: it saves you completing the walkthrough only to find out at the end that your plan doesn’t allow it.
