| Where | What you need |
|---|---|
| In PandaDoc | A PandaDoc account with access to the Dev Center — normally, the workspace admin. Every account gets a Sandbox key (testing only) and a Production one — this integration asks for the Production one. |
| In Platform | Admin role to connect or disconnect. Editor and Viewer roles can only see the connection’s status. |
| In Documents | At least one already-approved DocGen template with signing configured — without it, the agent has nothing to send (Manual 18 · Knowledge and documents). |
Notice — Production key: the official documentation is inconclusive
PandaDoc’s public documentation isn’t consistent about whether a new account gets the Production key automatically or whether a prior approval/sales contact is needed — some Dev Center pages themselves point to an extra step for Production; others describe the free plan with direct access to both keys. This guide can’t confirm which applies to a new account today without testing it with a real account — check it yourself when entering the Dev Center (section 3) and treat it as a step with real uncertainty, not as a procedure guaranteed to take minutes.
