With the tools activated (section 5), your agent can look up and write to Salesforce while chatting. Two real conversation examples:
Note — Example — searching before creating
A customer writes giving their email. The agent uses “Search leads in the CRM” to see whether a lead with that email already exists in Salesforce; if it doesn’t, it uses “Create a new lead in the CRM” with the data it already has from the conversation — it never duplicates an existing lead.
Note — Example — updating the status
When a lead confirms an appointment or shows real interest, the agent uses “Update a lead’s data” to move its
Statusin Salesforce — your sales team sees the change reflected without having to write it down by hand.
Salesforce doesn’t have its own piece in the flow builder today: its tools are available to any agent with access, within a normal conversation, not as a step in a multi-step flow.
Warning — Salesforce’s call budget is daily, not per second
Unlike HubSpot, Salesforce hands out a fixed number of API calls every 24 hours (not a per-second burst limit). The agent respects that budget for you: if it’s ever exhausted, it tells the customer to try again in a moment instead of showing a technical error.
