Can I connect MONEI and Stripe at the same time? Yes. If both are connected and active, the agent chooses among whichever has the payment method the customer asks for checked (for example, Bizum is only served by MONEI; Apple Pay and Google Pay, if you activate them, are also only served by MONEI in this catalog).
The key stopped working — what message will I see?
If the key is invalid or was revoked in MONEI, both when connecting and on “Test connection” you’ll see “The token isn’t valid; check it and try again” (code INTEGRATION_CREDENTIAL_INVALID). Generate a new key in MONEI (section 3) and repeat section 4.
MONEI isn’t responding — what message will I see?
If MONEI has a one-off incident, you’ll see “The provider isn’t available right now. Try again later” (code INTEGRATION_PROVIDER_UNAVAILABLE) — it’s not a problem with your key, try again in a few minutes.
What currency is the link generated in? Always in euros (EUR) in this version — there’s no currency selector.
Can your provider see or touch the money I charge? No. The money goes directly to your own MONEI account, under your own MONEI terms and fees — your provider for this platform is never an intermediary of the charge.
Can I use my test key in production? You shouldn’t: a test-mode key only moves simulated money. When you want to charge for real, repeat section 3 in MONEI’s live mode to get your production key and reconnect with it.
