Requirements: a PandaDoc account with access to the Dev Center (section 2).
- Sign in to your PandaDoc account and go to Settings → Integrations → API & Webhooks → API Keys (your workspace’s own Dev Center).
- Find your Production key (different from the Sandbox one, which is only for internal tests at no charge) — if your account doesn’t have one generated yet, follow whatever flow the Dev Center offers to request or generate it.
- Copy the key’s full value — it has the format
pandadoc-live-….
Note — The key stays tied to whoever generated it
PandaDoc ties each key to the user who created it — its capabilities depend on that person’s role and license within PandaDoc. If that person leaves the workspace, their key can become inactive: generate the key with a stable team account, not with one belonging to someone who might leave.
