Requirements: Admin role; an API key from the provider, ideally with the minimum permissions its info sheet indicates (section 4).
- On the template’s card, tap Connect.
- Paste your key — it’s never shown again after you submit it.
- Read the notice “You’re connecting this service under your own responsibility…” and tick the “I have read and accept this notice” checkbox (required).
- Tap Connect and test.
Result: we actually try to connect with the key you provided. If it’s invalid, you see the real error and nothing gets saved:
If the key is valid, you move to the second step, “Turn on what the assistant will be able to use”: the full list of tools that server exposes, all disabled by default (“All tools start disabled. Turn on only the ones you need — you can change this later.”). Turn on, one by one, the ones your agent is going to need and tap Save — or “Not now, leave everything off” if you’d rather decide later (the connection is made either way, just without any tool active yet).
