Requirements
- Copilot SDK version 1.1.0 or later. The server checks the version your SDK announces against your own manifest’s
sdkMinVersion — if your build is older, the copilot stays off with the reason sdk_too_old (section 10).
- A Copilot Assistant-type channel already created on your tenant, with the copilot turned on from the Platform → Channels → that instance → “Copilot” (manual 24; the activation toggle is described in the operator’s manual, number 58, section 2). It’s its own channel type, with its own plan limit — manual 62 (Plan capabilities and limits) explains that limit and what happens if the channel becomes “out of plan”.
- The chat widget already installed on your site (manual 06) — the copilot mounts alongside it, never in its place.
- Access to edit your site’s HTML/JS, to add the anchor attribute to the fields and buttons you want the copilot to be able to touch (section 4).
