Before this step, read **[Connect your assistant](/en/mcp/connect/)** — the shared requirements (Pro or
Enterprise plan, an API key) and the verification note.

## Configuration

`~/.cursor/mcp.json` (global) or `<your-project>/.cursor/mcp.json` (project-scoped):

```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "aymar": {
      "url": "https://mcp.aymaragents.com/mcp",
      "headers": { "X-Api-Key": "<your full API key>" }
    }
  }
}
```

## Verify it

Ask your assistant to call the **`aymar_status`** tool — if everything is right, you'll see your
tenant, your plan and your effective scopes. If something fails, continue with
**[Limits, errors and troubleshooting](/en/mcp/troubleshooting/)**.
