**Requirements:** Admin role.

1. Open MailChimp's **Detail**, go to the **Status** tab and click **Disconnect**.
2. Confirm on the notice — the action can't be undone.

**Result:** the **saved credentials are deleted** (the Marketing one and, if you had added it, the Mandrill one), activated actions **stop running** immediately and the agent loses access to MailChimp's tools. To connect again, repeat section 4 (you'll need a new key, or the same one if it's still valid in MailChimp).

> **Note — MailChimp becomes a destination for your own data**
>
> If you activate "Lead → contact" (section 5), the lead's data travels to **your own MailChimp account** — a system that's already yours, contracted and managed by you, not by your provider for this platform. Disconnecting stops the sync but **doesn't delete** what was already synced to your MailChimp before, because that's your system, not your provider's. If you unsubscribed an end customer and they requested erasure, that erasure applies on the Platform; it doesn't automatically delete what already travelled to your MailChimp.
