Just like chat (Manual 06, section 6.2), the voice widget complies by design with the AI Act (Art. 50)
and the GDPR's duty to inform, with nothing extra for you to configure:

- **Permanent AI notice**: a fixed strip under the panel's header — "You're talking to an AI assistant" —
visible during the WHOLE call, not just at the start. Your agent also says it out loud at the start of
every call (spoken notice, Manual 24 section 8.1 "Legal notice (AI)"). Neither notice can be turned
  off.
- **Privacy policy**: if you configured a **privacy policy URL** for your channel, the panel links to it
right under the AI notice. If you didn't configure one, the voice widget does NOT show any link in its
place (unlike chat, which does show a generic notice) — configure it on your channel if you want it to
  appear.

**"I'd rather type" and alternative contact** — what a visitor sees who can't or doesn't want to use the
microphone (permission not granted, or voice out of plan):

1. If your site ALSO has the chat widget installed (Manual 06), the voice panel shows an **"I'd rather
type"** link that opens the chat directly.
2. If you don't have chat but configured an **alternative contact** (email or phone) on your Voice
channel, the panel shows that data: "Contact us: {email or phone}".
3. If you have neither chat nor an alternative contact configured, the panel shows a generic honest
notice inviting the visitor to reach out another way — it never leaves the visitor with no way out.

> Today, turning on your Voice channel's alternative email or phone is a request to support (Manual 28 ·
> Support) — Channels doesn't have a form of its own yet for you to write it in (Manual 24, section 8.1).
