The **Facebook Messenger** and **Instagram direct messages** channels work like the rest: tap "Add channel"
(section 3), choose the type, name it, and connect the page or account from its card. Each Facebook page
and each Instagram account is an independent card, with its own agent and owners.

**Requirements:** administrator role; an agency Facebook page with your user as an administrator of that
page (and access to Meta Business Manager if the page lives inside one); for Instagram, the account
converted to a professional (Business-type) account and linked to that Facebook page from the Instagram app
(Settings → Business tools → Page) or from the page's settings on Facebook.

1. Generate the **page access token** from **Meta for Developers** (your app → Messenger → API setup →
   Generate token).
2. On the channel's card, paste that token into the **"Page access token"** field.
3. Also paste the **"Facebook page ID"**.
4. Tap **Connect**.

**Result:** the page is linked to that card; its status switches to "Connected" and the conversations and
leads arriving through that page or account are attributed to that card (section 2).

> **Warning — Final activation pending the platform's Meta sign-up**
>
> The connection screen is already available, but for Meta to deliver messages the platform must complete
> its own sign-up with Meta (verification and App Review — in progress, handled by your provider). Until
> then, connecting real pages may fail; your agency CAN still get the requirements above ready and decide
> which AI agent will handle each page/account and who its owners will be.

You can connect **as many pages and accounts as your agency has**; the same page can't be connected on two
platform accounts at once. Just like on WhatsApp, Meta applies the **24-hour window**: the AI replies
normally to messages the customer initiates; once the window passes with no reply from the customer, a
free-form message can't be started.
