If you change the mailbox's password with your mail provider, or need to adjust any other connection
detail, use **Reconfigure credentials** on the panel of an already-connected channel (section 7).

**Requirements:** administrator role.

1. Tap **Reconfigure credentials**.
2. The form reloads with the already-saved non-sensitive data (address, servers, ports, username…); the
   **Password** field always starts **blank**.
3. Change whatever you need.
4. Test the connection again (section 6) and tap **Save and connect**.

> **Warning — Blank password means don't change it**
>
> If you only need to touch another field (for example, the display name) and the password stays the same,
> **leave it blank**: the Platform never shows it again once saved, and an empty field explicitly means
> "keep the already-saved password", never "clear it". Only type a new password if it has actually
> changed.
